The members of LoTE have extensive experience in the provision of specialized services and the preparation of studies of transport projects and systems, both in Greece and abroad (Europe, Asia, Africa). In this context, the members of LoTE provide specialized consulting services in the following areas:

A sample of road, safety and transport studies carried out in Greece and abroad.

  • Studies of roads, tunnels and earthworks in Greece and abroad.

  • Compilation of design guidelines for road works (OMOE-X/D/KOD/LCO).

  • Road safety audit and geometric design of the road infrastructure of the PATRA-ATHENS-ATHENS-THESSALONIKI-EYZONI Road Axis (for the Project Management Consultant LOUIS BERGER GROUP EUROPE).

  • Speed limit study on the motorways "Corinth-Patras" and "Corinth-Tripoli".

  • Road safety audit and drafting of the Regulatory Framework for the design of the Northern Road Axis of Crete (BOAK).

  • Saudi Arabia Road Safety Centre Operational Evaluation.

  • Development of the Strategic Transport Plan of Montenegro.

  • Development of large-scale macroscopic transport models in Asian cities (Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Pakistan).

  • Updating the macroscopic transport model of Athens.

  • Development of medium-scale transport models in Greek cities and municipalities (indicatively Ioannina, Alexandroupoli, Katerini, Ilioupolis, Piraeus, Korydallos, Maroussi, Perama - Salamina, the area of influence of the Nea Odos motorway - section Metamorfosi - Agios Stefanos etc.).

  • Support to the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA S.A.) on issues of service costing, renewal of the organization's transport model, development of supporting planning tools, analysis of telematics data, operation of the ATA, etc.

  • Preparation of technical and economic studies of transport projects (e.g. development of Light Rail Transit systems in Cyprus and Ioannina, renovation of the HSTAP line, supply of trolleys by ELPAP, etc.).

  • Participation in the development of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans in Greek Cities.
