Konstantia Kontodimou is a Civil Engineer, PhD candidate at the School of Rural & Surveying Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. Her PhD thesis is on the optimization of aircraft operations. She holds an M.Sc. in Management from the London Business School. Her undergraduate studies were carried out at the School of Civil Engineering (NTUA), during which she pursued her studies in the field of Transport Engineering. Her work experience includes construction and consulting. She started working in London and Paris for Alstom where she was involved in rail project management, including upgrading Transport for London's lines and the construction of the Elizabeth line. She then worked at the multinational consultancy firms EY and PwC in Athens focusing on consulting in corporate operations, logistics and supply chain. She now works at the international strategic consulting firm Oliver Wyman, for the New York (hybrid) office, providing advisory services to clients in the transport sector. She is also involved as a researcher in the project "European Bus Rapid Transit of 2030: electrified, automated, connected (eBRT2030)" funded by Horizon Europe. She has an excellent command of English and a good knowledge of French.
