Dr. Vasileios Milias is an Electrical and Computer Engineer (NTUA) and holds a PhD in Urban Analytics from TU Delft. He works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and as a Senior Researcher at the Milan-based research foundation Transform Transport. His research focuses on computational methods and tools for analysing walkability, accessibility, and urban design at the neighbourhood scale, leveraging geospatial data, artificial intelligence, and open data. He has participated in several European Horizon research projects related to sustainable mobility, equitable access to public space, and smart cities. He has also developed digital tools such as CThood, CTstreets , and CTwalk, in order to communicate research outcomes through interactive maps to a broader audience.
